Ternium, Latin America’s leading flat steel producer, expected its subsidiary, Ternium Brazil, to produce 4.3 million tons of slab this year.
In the past, Mr. Máximo Vedoya, Ternium''s CEO, said Ternium had expected to produce 4.7 to 4.8 million tons this year, but now it said that with the expected weakening of the Bayu market, this year''s output was expected to reach 4.3 million tons, and the current annual output was only 4.1 million tons, due to the decline in production would reduce the company''s pellets
